Litigation Paralegal The candidate responsibilities will include: Performing legal research; Creating and maintaining case chronologies; Drafting legal documents including motions, discovery, privilege logs, subpoenas, certificates of service; Creating and coordinating organizational tracking systems for large document collection; E-filing in State and Federal Courts; Use automated litigation support tools and use existing, or create new, procedures for organizing, coordinating and retrieving documents; Prepare for and attend depositions, arbitrations, trials and hearings.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate must have 4 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, providing trial preparation support. Candidates are required to have an undergraduate degree or ABA approved paralegal certificate and at least four years of experience as a litigation paralegal in a law firm. Strong technical skills including MS Word, Excel and Concordance, Summation or Relativity are necessary.
