Supervising Attorney - Attorney 3 The candidate initiates and assists in the management of firm's condemnation program; manages real estate title services; provides legal assistance in the real property acquisition and conveyance processes; drafts legal forms; proposes and drafts legislation and policy; directs and provides post acquisition support; supervises, plans, assigns and reviews the work of the Legal, Direct Purchase and Property Management Unit; and directs and provides legal guidance and direction to the Office of Land Management.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Juris Doctorate (J.D.) degree from an American Bar Association accredited law school, a current license to practice law in the State of Minnesota, and a 4+ years of advanced professional post licensed legal experience. Knowledge of common law and statutory law relating to real estate, eminent domain, probate, corporate, partnership and trust matters is essential. Must have knowledge and understanding of the rules of civil procedures and of the eminent domain process. Experience with legal research and analysis, writing, and client counseling is essential. Must have a valid Driver’s License as overnight travel will be required. Previous supervisory experience is preferred. Deadline: 03/18/2019
