Corporate Counsel The candidate will negotiate, structure, and close OEM, MSP, Reseller and Customer contracts, working directly with the Companyâ€™s Sales and Business Development organizations in the Americas. Will help develop and mature the operational model for the Companyâ€™s contract negotiation and management processes. Assist in the development and localization of contract templates, playbooks and SOPs. Partner closely with the Companyâ€™s partner and sales organizations on such other projects and regulatory issues as may be required. Help build and strengthen communications and relationships between the Legal and client departments. Help manage incoming agreements that are received from various departments within the Company. Work with an international organization on groundbreaking Big Data technology that's having a real impact, across the globe, with unlimited use cases and massive market opportunity. Qualification and Experience
The candidate must have 3-6 years of experience in the drafting and negotiation of technology contracts at a major national or international law firm, excellent judgment, and are able to balance legal risks with business strategy. Should have JD degree from a top law school. Must be License to practice law in one of the 50 United States. Must have excellent written and oral communication skills. Experience with, or at least a good working knowledge of, open source business models and related legal issues is a major plus. Familiarity with data protection and privacy issues and concerns in the context of technology transactions is a significant plus. Prior experience representing high-growth or startup technology companies is strongly preferred .Ability to collaborate and function well in a team environment is required.
