Contract Coordinator / Paralegal The candidate will assist corporate attorneys with tasks and projects related to the creation, review, routing, and administration of a wide range of corporate and commercial contracts (e.g., international and domestic vendor contracts, football operations vendor contracts, consulting agreements, venue rental agreements, hotel agreements) for the firm. Prepare, review and revise drafts of commercial contracts with oversight of attorneys. Draft basic amendments and other legal documents (e.g., non-disclosure agreements, RFP's, liability and publicity waivers and releases). Manage contract process from initiation to execution. Coordinate the routing and review of promotional materials submitted by sponsors, licensees and other business partners. Coordinate directly with business units and third parties on contract requirements and approval process. Manage contract database for Legal department. Assist in coordinating Legal department conferences and trainings. Perform any other assigned duties.
Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have a degree from an accredited 4-Year College or University. At least 2 years of experience in an in-house transactional legal role (paralegal, contracts administrator or similar) or in a law firm corporate department. Ability to work independently with minimal oversight. A strong ability to multi-task and excellent attention to detail. Experience with international/cross-border business operations a plus. Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-volume workplace environment. Must have exceptional initiative, judgment, prioritizing and organizational skills. Excellent oral and written communication abilities. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Ability to work on projects requiring a high level of discretion and confidentiality. Willing to work overtime, when necessary.
