Transactional Legal Assistant The candidate will be filing corporate governance or business license applications with various local regulatory approval agencies. Will be coordinating due diligence process for a constant stream of acquisition opportunities. Assisting with the purchase agreement negotiation process and gathering acquisition-related agreements. Assisting attorneys with the signing and closing of transactions. Providing administrative support to licensing and regulatory counsel. Assisting in the real estate closing process, including the review of title and survey documents as well as leasing documents. Performing general office duties such as typing, operating office machines, sorting mail, and recording and maintaining important documents. Assisting with other tasks as needed, such as entity formation, drafting board or member resolutions, organizing closing materials, miscellaneous data entry, etc. Must have superior computer skills and be very comfortable with MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint: A team player who views no task as too big or too small; a willingness and ability to learn and understand complex issues and to follow direction; Transactional legal assistant/paralegal experience is strongly preferred.
