Job Overview:
A law firm is seeking an experienced Immigration Attorney to join its team. The role will focus on a variety of immigration matters, with a particular emphasis on USCIS and EOIR proceedings. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in immigration law and a strong background in managing a wide range of immigration cases. This position requires a skilled professional who can provide expert legal advice and representation while managing multiple cases efficiently.
Location:

Duties:
- Assist with initial client consultations
- Provide legal advice and representation on immigration matters such as family-based immigration, deportation defense, asylum, waivers, U-visas, Humanitarian Petitions, and Labor Certification
- Conduct in-depth legal research and develop case strategies
- Draft and prepare legal documents including petitions, waivers, applications, motions, and briefs
- Represent clients in immigration court proceedings as needed
- Maintain regular communication with clients to update them on case progress and manage expectations
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethical practice
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in immigration law
- Strong legal research, writing, and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple cases efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
- Experience handling a range of . immigrant and non-immigrant visas, removal defense, VAWA, asylum, waivers, and Labor Certification
- Florida Bar membership is preferred
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
Certifications:
- Florida Bar membership (preferred)
