A law firm in Philadelphia is seeking a Products Liability Associate Attorney with 3-5 years of experience in products liability (toxic tort) and general litigation. The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong advocacy skills, a positive presence, and the ability to inspire confidence. Experience or working knowledge in asbestos litigation is a plus.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Handle products liability cases, specifically toxic tort litigation.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis related to products liability issues.
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Prepare for and participate in depositions, hearings, trials, and arbitrations.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and experts on case strategy and development.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, experts, and opposing counsel.
  • Manage case files and ensure adherence to deadlines and court procedures.
  • Stay updated on legal developments, laws, and regulations affecting products liability.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Pennsylvania (PA) and New Jersey (NJ) Bar, or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
  • 3-5 years of experience in products liability (toxic tort) and general litigation.
  • Working knowledge or experience in asbestos litigation is advantageous.
  • Superior research and writing skills.
  • Strong advocacy skills and the ability to inspire confidence.
  • Entrepreneurial drive and initiative to take ownership of cases and projects.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Skills and Abilities:
