Employment Litigation Associate The candidate will assume a hands-on litigation role in the firm’s robust and sophisticated Title III ADA/Disability Access practice. Will work alongside experienced litigators and mentors on cases often involving high-profile companies. Will actively assist shareholders in all aspects of pre-trial litigation and trial work, including drafting pleadings and participating in settlement negotiations, interacting with opposing counsel and clients, and attending on-site inspections, mediations and hearings. Will also assist shareholders in providing compliance advice to clients designed to keep them out of litigation. Must have a Juris Doctor degree and must be and remain licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of employment. Must meet requirements for continuing licensure for law practice. Must possess 2+ years of litigation experience, including familiarity with preparing pleadings, discovery, and all other pre-trial procedures. Federal court experience preferred. Prior experience with Title III of the ADA is preferred. Strong academic credentials are required. Must have a proven record of attention to detail and solid organization skills. Excellent research, analytical, communication, and writing skills are required. Excellent client service ethic and responsiveness are required. Must have proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload with competing deadlines. Should possess strong analytical, communication, and organization skills and will add their enthusiasm to the affable, team-oriented environment.
