Legal Assistant - Litigation The candidate will be scheduling/Coordinating depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, etc. Will be monitoring Calendars and confirming case status with attorney. Drafting correspondence and basic pleadings (i.e. Notice of Hearings, Subpoenas, Notices of Appearance). Preparing documents necessary for attorney appearances. Assist Attorneys with trial preparation. Clerical and administrative support to the Legal department as needed. Minimum HS Diploma; Associate degree or higher is preferred. Must have Insurance defense and/or PIP experience is essential. Should have 2 years of experience as a legal assistant. Proficient knowledge of all State and Federal Court Procedures and must have knowledge of county court filing system, as well as rules and procedures are needed. Experience in schedule and calendaring knowledge is essential.
