Paralegal/Legal Assistant Responsibilities: Notify third party purchasers of closing requirements. Communicate with clients pertaining to case files. Send settlement demand letters. Assist with the review of various legal forms, HUD settlement statements, and deeds. Prepare settlement packages. Coordinate/schedule settlements with agents, attorneys and purchasers. Work in conjunction with attorneys and other paralegals to ensure case files are accurate and complete.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Virginia Notary is highly preferred. Previous mortgage servicing, real estate, or law firm experience highly preferred. Demonstrate excellent computer and organizational skills, and be able to multitask. Excellent communication skills. Attention to detail and ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Ability to analyze customer accounts.
