Job Title: Personal Injury Trial Attorney

Job Overview: An established law firm in Raleigh, NC, seeks a seasoned Personal Injury Trial Attorney with a passion for advocating on behalf of clients facing some of life's most challenging moments. This role involves collaboration within a dedicated team, committed to delivering customized legal strategies and achieving impactful results for clients.

Duties:

• Strategize and handle complex personal injury cases from inception to resolution.
• Engage compassionately with clients to understand their experiences and needs.
• Represent clients in all legal settings, including mediations, arbitrations, depositions, hearings, and trials.
• Present persuasive arguments to juries, with a poised and confident demeanor.
• Interpret relevant laws, rulings, and regulations, providing clear guidance to clients.
• Analyze legal and medical records to determine liability, damages, and coverage.
• Prepare for trials by developing compelling settlement strategies and legal arguments.
• Maintain legal compliance in managing settlements and disbursements.
• Utilize technology effectively to manage case details and client communication.
• Foster relationships with other professionals within the community to enhance brand visibility and client service.
• Availability for necessary travel.

Requirements:

• Bar Membership: NC State Bar (Additional Bar memberships preferred).
• Experience: Minimum 10+ years in civil litigation, with at least 10 cases tried to verdict in North Carolina Superior Court or equivalent jurisdictions.
• Leadership: Demonstrated experience as Lead Attorney on complex personal injury cases, including catastrophic injury and trucking cases.
• Professional Affiliations: Memberships in relevant trade groups or associations preferred (., Defense Research Institute, Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys).

Education:

• Degree: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• NC State Bar (Mandatory)
• Additional State Bar memberships (Preferred)
