Profile

Licensing Specialist Responsibilities: Coordinate state prudential reporting and state license renewals for affiliates including the preparation of state license renewal forms and all required state reporting. Prepare quarterly, semiannual, annual and any other miscellaneous state reports. Source and provide required data for renewals and reports including: Updated officer and director information, Executive fingerprints, notarized signatures, resumes, financial information, and other corporate material, Required bonds and registrations, Agent locations. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to source data and other requirements to fulfill reporting demands (call reports, transaction data, and compliance information). Review state regulatory requirements and update procedures and calendars to ensure compliance. Ensure website license listing is up-to-date. Process, maintain and file mail sent by state banking departments. Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned.

Qualification and Experience

Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree (paralegal designation or equivalent experience) preferred. 3+ years of experience in the preparation of state regulatory reports preferred (including money transmission, gaming and lending). Proficient in use of Nationwide Multi-State Licensing System (NMLS). Experience with Smartsheet. Ability to simultaneously manage a variety of assignments and projects with varying firm deadlines. Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to engage in critical and analytical thinking, decision making, innovative problem solving, and finding solutions. Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects with competing priorities, meet deadlines, and adapt to change. Excellent writing, planning, organizational, communication and relationship management skills. Strong reputation for integrity and ability to balance business partnership with the need to exercise independence judgment and to raise issues in a timely and constructive manner. High sense of urgency and the ability to work independently in a team-oriented environment as well as the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet firm deadlines. The ability to interact well with internal senior management and external contacts, including regulators, is essential. Excellent attention to detail. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Ability to identify dependencies and leverage multiple sources of information simultaneously.
