Paralegal Duties: Work in the areas of real estate, land use, municipal, environmental and water law. Drafting contracts, agreements, correspondence, memoranda, presentations and pleadings, including redline revisions. Perform legal research and analysis, and produce summaries of findings. Provide administrative support to attorney including management of calendars, deadlines and licensing requirements. Collaborate with clients, board and council members, government agency staff. Maintain electronic and paper document collections, including administrative data, client documents and research records. Monitor local government actions to stay abreast of land use and water law issues.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and/or 3 years of experience is preferred. Knowledge and experience in real estate and land use and possess the following skills: Resourceful, Personable, and Details. Good organizational and communication skills. Excellent writing, research, and editing skills. Work independently with little supervision. Able to handle multiple priorities, and adapt to changing priorities.
