Contract Administrator The candidate will be responsible for reviewing, negotiating, and administering business aspects (terms and conditions) of contracts for area business unit. Analyze requests for proposal and contract terms to assess business risks, develop pricing strategy, and support contract compliance efforts. Support Business Unit Lawyers with review and negotiation of client contracts. Identifies and negotiates contract changes with clients. Review government and commercial RFPs, teaming agreements, contracts, change orders and other legally binding documents. Advises management/technical personnel and negotiate agreements with clients. Coordinates review of these documents with Legal, Tax, Operations, and Risk Management, as necessary. Obtains Certificates of Insurance and Bonds, as required. Advise/train technical staff regarding contract administration, risk avoidance, change order management, and cost and pricing. Reviews Client Project Setup forms to ensure that a properly reviewed and approved contract is in place and that the information provided on the form is consistent with that in the contract. Provides support as requested in areas of contract review, negotiation, monitoring, close-out, indirect rate adjustments, federal government audits, proposal preparation, etc. Must have Bachelor's Degree. Juris Doctor Degree from an accredited law school is preferred. Should have 5-10 years of experience in reviewing and negotiating contracts for the construction, plant maintenance, and environmental consulting services industries.
