Contracts Paralegal The candidate will assist with contract review, electronic file management, project management, and additional duties on an as-needed basis. Review contracts to ensure language complies with company policy and provide alternate language and revisions where needed. Draft contracts from approved forms. Draft memorandums, termination letters and amendments from approved forms. Responsible for facilitating the contract review process, including obtaining and evaluating Legal, Tax, and Finance reviewer comments, managing and maintaining contract tracking. Act as facilitator with corporate legal team and clients. Assist in-house counsel with legal review of contracts. Work with clients engaging vendor services to determine need for and scope of potential contracts. Assist client and in-house counsel with negotiation of contract terms with vendors. Identify and manage potential risks in accordance with organizational Risk Management procedures. Obtain approvals in accordance with corporate policy. Must have a Bachelorâ€™s degree from an accredited four-year college/university or a Paralegal Certificate from an accredited institution. Should have 2-3 years of PQE as a Paralegal with contract review responsibilities in a corporate legal department or legal office. Fluency in English is required. Spanish proficiency is a plus. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Word.
