Business Services Contract Manager The candidate will partner with the various business, compliance and legal departments within firm to plan, develop and negotiate vendor relationships which support firm’s corporate goals. Will report to a manager. Prioritize business needs and supplier offerings in order to build a strategic and tactical negotiating plan. Negotiate favorable supplier contracts that create business value while reducing costs and improving business processe. Act as a contracting liaison between business teams and firm’s compliance departments to facilitate compliant contract terms and processes. Draft purchasing contracts either custom or from templates devised for certain procurements. Where appropriate, receive, review and modify supplier contract forms, and negotiate changes as appropriate. Address supplier issues; interpret contract or other legal document language on request. Prepare contract termination letters. Coordinate dissemination of contract updates, drafts, revisions between Procurement teams, business partners, suppliers as appropriate. Contract document tracking and management.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should preferably have JD degree with 3 + years of experience in contracts drafting and negotiations. Contracts experience within procurement/supply chain buy-side is preferred. Project management experience and/or PMP certification is preferred. Should have Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance or a related field with 5+ years of experience in contract drafting and negotiations OR Bachelor’s Degrees plus paralegal certification and 3+ years in contract drafting and negotiations. Financial analysis and accounting experience is essential. Exceptional analytical skill is essential. Strong communication skills – written and verbal is essential. Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) is essential.
