Duties

  • Represent clients in complex medical malpractice cases, including those involving catastrophic injuries and significant losses.
  • Collaborate with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff to ensure the effective management of cases.
  • Engage in all aspects of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motions, trial preparation, and trial proceedings.
  • Participate in trial advocacy programs to develop courtroom skills and legal strategies.
  • Maintain regular client contact, providing strategic legal counsel and recommendations.

Requirements

  • Active bar admission in Pennsylvania (PA).
  • 3-7 years of litigation experience, with a strong preference for healthcare or medical malpractice litigation.
  • Ability to handle complex, high-risk medical malpractice cases independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and case management skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar is required.
