"Good pay and learning but high internal politics"

Current Employee - Reviewed on July 28, 2017

Be sensitive to the needs of human being you are employing to work for you. Curb practices of preferential treatment and biases as well as avoid internal politics.

Pros : I worked at Miller, Johnson, Snell & Cummiskey, and P.L.C as an attorney. The best part was compensation, good amount of learning, client experience, and opportunity to work on challenging problems.
Cons : The worst part was high internal politics, too much travel, no respect for personal life, culture of preferential treatment and biases, and networking yielding more career advancement than work and talent.
