The ideal candidate will hold at least a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Physics. They should have well-developed skills in patent application preparation and prosecution, with a focus on wireless telecommunication standards, signal processing, or computer networking. The role requires a minimum of 2 years of patent prosecution experience.

Duties:

  • Prepare and prosecute patent applications, including drafting detailed claims, specifications, and responding to office actions from the USPTO.
  • Conduct in-depth technical analyses related to wireless telecommunication standards, signal processing, and computer networking.
  • Perform prior art searches and provide comprehensive evaluations of patentability, freedom-to-operate, and infringement risks.
  • Collaborate with inventors, clients, and legal teams to develop and implement effective patent strategies.
  • Review and analyze patent-related documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, patent law changes, and technological advancements to offer informed advice and strategies.
  • Assist in patent litigation and intellectual property disputes by providing technical expertise and detailed analyses.
  • Efficiently manage and prioritize multiple patent-related projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in patent prosecution.
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Physics.
  • Proven expertise in patent application preparation and prosecution.
  • Technical experience in wireless telecommunication standards, signal processing, or computer networking.
  • Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Education:
