Registered Funds Senior Associate/Counsel The candidate should have 6-12 years of experience with open-end (mutual) funds, closed-end funds and/or exchange-traded funds (ETFs) and experience representing investment companies, investment advisers, and independent board members on matters arising under U.S. federal securities laws, particularly the Investment Company Act of 1940, the Investment Advisers Act of 1940, the Securities Act of 1933, the Securities Exchange Act of 1934, and related rules and regulations. Should have experience in one or more of these areas, and a desire to work with a team of experienced lawyers who will provide active mentoring and opportunities to assume increasing levels of responsibility on a variety of matters. Become part of an exciting global Asset Management and Investment Funds practice, working with a diverse range of premier global clients. Experience in a top-tier law firm or in-house experience at an asset manager is strongly preferred. should have strong academic credentials and excellent communication, analytical, and writing skills. Will demonstrate a commitment to providing the highest quality client service and be a self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
