Employment And Labor Partner Level Attorney
The candidate should have 8+ years’ significant experience advising employers on compliance with state and federal employment laws, drafting and revising employment policies, and handling harassment, discrimination, FMLA, ADA, retaliation, and wage and hour law matters. Must have substantial experience taking depositions, arguing motions, preparing cases for trial, handling grievances, arbitrations, unfair labor practice charges and collective bargaining negotiations. Should have strong interpersonal skills with superior judgment, the ability to work well with a team, effectively handle multiple projects, and articulate legal strategies and courses of action. A portable book of business is required. Must be licensed and in good standing with the State Bar of Michigan, or eligible for admission by examination or waiver.
