Job Overview:
A well-established law firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to assist in the defense of civil litigation claims. The ideal candidate will assist with a variety of tasks, including legal research, preparing pleadings, attending court hearings, depositions, and client meetings.

Duties:
- Assist in the defense of civil litigation claims.
- Perform legal research and prepare pleadings.
- Gather evidence and assist in case preparation.
- Attend depositions and court hearings.
- Conduct conference calls and hold client meetings.
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients on litigation strategy.
- Manage and track case progress and deadlines.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in civil litigation defense.
- Licensed to practice law in the State of Michigan.
- Strong legal research and writing skills.
- Ability to attend depositions and court hearings as needed.
- Self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with clients, witnesses, and colleagues.
Education:
- Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school.
Certifications:
- Michigan State Bar License (Required).
