The ideal candidate will work closely with senior attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff to provide top-notch legal services. This role involves managing client needs, drafting legal documents, and overseeing support staff to ensure efficient case handling. Strong research, writing, and communication skills are essential for success in this position.

Duties:

• Oversee and guide paralegals, law clerks, and administrative staff.
• Perform legal research and draft briefs, motions, pleadings, and correspondence.
• Manage client meetings, time records, and billing processes in coordination with support staff.
• Prepare legal documents, including briefs, motions, and pleadings, for client matters.
• Analyze client needs, develop case strategies, and provide legal counsel.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal matters and ensure timely case progression.

Requirements:

• Strong decision-making, public speaking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience representing clients.
• Proficiency in legal research programs such as Westlaw and Lexis.
• Ability to work independently while managing a heavy caseload.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Licensed to practice law in Maryland.

Skills:

• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple cases and tasks efficiently.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a legal team.
