Commercial Relationship Specialist Duties: Provides support to commercial lenders with medium to large portfolios that have moderate to complex degree of difficulty in their daily duties in underwriting and monitoring credit, existing and proposed credit requests, providing high level customer service support and performing special projects as directed by management. Gather data from multiple sources, designing and generating management information and reports of various types related to departmental activities and to the Bank overall. Prepare and or assist in preparation of commercial banking sales proposals. Ability to manage sales tracking system. Assist with data input and report generation. Work with lenders to ensure accuracy and timely receipt of information. Performs a wide variety of duties to help in the loan approval, renewal, documentation and closing and settlement process. Prepare commitment letters. Prepare Commercial Loan Agreement necessary for new and modified loans for new and existing relationships. Effectively communicate with commercial documentation areas, attorneys and or other areas of the bank to ensure proper documentation. Research borrower, guarantor and collateral information. Request appraisals, title insurance, property insurance and coordinate the settlement preparation process. Conduct online searches to order supporting information required to properly document commercial loan transactions including, but not limited to flood certifications, State UCC searches, Office of Foreign Assets Control Tracking, Articles. Retrieve supporting information required to properly document commercial loans using corporate systems. Attend loan closings and facilitate document signing when requested. Post Closing ensure documentation package is complete and send to loan processing area for booking. Works with customers, lenders and loan review department to assist in clearing collateral, documentation and technical exceptions. Assist in processing releases and satisfaction documents, issuing payoffs and releases for loans including development and construction loans. Provides delinquency management assistance to the lenders through assisting with collection of past due accounts, processing of payments and communicating with customers as necessary. Performs highly skilled administrative functions that support the workflow of the commercial lending office and to ensure that customer satisfaction is met. Prepare and answer routine correspondence, assist with customer loan advances and payments, answer billing questions and address other customer issues. Answer phone, greet visitors, plan schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, seminars and other events. Generate and process memos, letters and reports utilizing word processing and computerized spread sheet systems, including typing, copying, distribution and filing. Maintain and update financial tracking information on corporate systems, collect updated financial records when requested and maintain receipt of borrowing base certificates.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: High School Diploma or the Equivalent Experience. 4+ years' Commercial lending knowledge with Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree. (Preferred). 5+ years' Commercial lending knowledge with a high school diploma. (Preferred). 1+ years' Paralegal. (Preferred).
