M/W/DBE Liaison The candidate will coordinate and administer the company's small, women, minority and disadvantaged program in accordance with the company's policies and procedures in addition to assisting with fraud detection and audit related activities. Will implement the company M/W/DBE policy and procedures, solicitation of firms, preparing and maintaining documentation, interviewing firms, research and investigative actions. Participate in formulating minority participation plans and reviewing the plans prior to submission to the government while interfacing with Public Agency I Owner representatives to clarify rules, regulations and/or reporting requirements. Review contract documents to identify the minority participation requirements for the projects. M/W/DBE participation monthly, quarterly, and annually along with closing out all projects, preparing closeout documentation, claims resolutions and coordinating the submissions for final closeout. Work with other departments within the organization to arrange events for minority participation for special or large projects. Report EEO compliance statistics and monthly MWBE participation to public agencies. Work with company personnel to provide training and guidance relative to minority program responsibilities. Visit project sites to monitor compliance with contract requirements of the minority participation programs. Act as the liaison between external/internal entities, coordinating contracting functions researching and understanding federal and state regulatory requirements and reporting. Locate and attend various networking events to communicate the company's interest in receiving proposals from firms to participate in various contracts awarded or being bid. Arrange for advertising in industry journals and media promoting the company's interest in receiving proposals from firms. College degree or Paralegal Certificate preferred. Working knowledge of the federal laws and regulations as they pertain to DBE programs, construction practices and contracts desired. Knowledge of the construction industry an asset. Should be proficient in MS Office - Word and Excel.
