Associate Contract Coordinator The candidate will draft, negotiate, and implement agreements supporting all of R&D. Will manage milestone-based projects. Prepare, negotiate, and implement agreements that maximize value and support R&D activities on time, within budget. Responsible for timely communication of contract issues to teams and management. Work closely with Legal, OEC, and Clinical Development. Understand cost drivers and procedural/study related fees in assigned studies and drive negotiations that ensure the best value for quality, pricing, and service. Develop and maintain necessary contracting documentation according to departmental policies and procedures. Draft, negotiate, and/or route all standard contract types, including CDAs. Manage milestone-based projects in Planview (cost, timeline, and resources); work with PM/finance for monthly LBE process. Participate in process improvement initiatives. Establish and cultivate a network of internal resources to facilitate completion of tasks. Includes the assurance of contract and project quality to meet or exceed divisional goals. Complete daily work to meet established schedule with guidance from supervisor on prioritization of tasks. May exercise authority within pre-established limits and approval. Must have BA/BS: Science, Business, or Financial Degree. Paralegal certification is desirable. Must have 2-4 years of experience in Industry. Should be fluent in Spanish.
