- At least 3 years of experience in tax, estate planning, and estate administration preferred

Responsibilities:
- Prepare tax returns of all types, including individual income, estate and trust income, gift, estate and GST tax returns
- Understand probate process and prepare probate documents (Illinois preferred)
- Prepare estate and trust accountings; analyze and organize records and documents
- Conduct factual research involving assets, liabilities, titling of assets, claims, valuation, contacts and virtually all other matters relating to estates and trusts
- Perform tax and legal research using library and online resources
- Review and draft estate planning and other legal documents
- Assist with business transactions
- Prepare corporate, partnership and LLC agreements, resolutions and other documents; liaise with Corporate Maintenance to maintain records and minute books
- Handle governmental, agency and court filings
- Meet and directly communicate with clients
- Maintain docket of all estate, trust and court dates
- Act as a backup for the entire practice group
- Maintain 1,500 billable hours annually
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- ABA-approved paralegal certificate preferred
- At least 3 years of paralegal or related expertise in tax, estate planning and estate administration preferred
- Accounting experience preferred
- Must be able to work under pressure to meet strict deadlines

Compensation Range: $65,000/yr. to $110,000/yr.
