Intern - State and Local Tax (2019) Duties : Will be exposed to a wide variety of projects that will give you the opportunity to stand out and make a difference. Will receive significant hands-on mentoring from senior professionals. Serve as members of client service teams. Staffed on engagements and receive formal and on-the-job training to hone and develop their technical skills. Will assist in the preparation of tax returns along with the tax planning and consultation process for clients. Will also aid the team with basic tax research.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements : The candidate should be pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field and/or an advanced degree in Accounting, Taxation, JD or LLM. Should have a minimum GPA of 3.0. Strong leadership, multitasking and organizational skills and must be self-starter with initiative to seek out opportunities in a fast-paced environment. Should have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong interpersonal skills and have bility to interact with and gain the respect of all levels of internal and client personnel. Must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
