A law firm seeks an experienced Litigation Attorney specializing in general liability to join their Orange County office. The successful candidate will work on complex legal matters in a range of fields including commercial litigation, healthcare liability, mass torts, and class actions. This position offers a flexible hybrid schedule, direct client interaction, and significant responsibilities on sophisticated legal cases while providing mentorship and career development opportunities.

Duties

• Handle general commercial and general liability litigation matters, including healthcare, ENO/DNO, and senior living litigation.
• Work on cases involving human trafficking, sexual abuse litigation, mass torts, and class actions.
• Take charge of all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motions, trial preparation, and trial proceedings.
• Collaborate directly with clients and senior attorneys to strategize legal approaches.
• Manage significant responsibility on complex and sophisticated legal matters.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of litigation experience, particularly in general liability or commercial litigation.
• Strong knowledge of healthcare, professional liability, and tort law is preferred.
• Ability to handle a diverse range of legal cases and work under minimal supervision.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Proven ability to collaborate with a team in a fast-paced legal environment.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active law license in good standing in the state of California.

• Extensive experience in general liability and commercial litigation.
