Recruitment Senior Director The candidate directs, supervises, and evaluates the work of staff. Holds management staff accountable for achieving plans and performance targets. Works with staff to identify and resolve the most complex issues and problems impacting initiatives and operations. Develops staff to ensure continued professional growth and to provide the competencies the company needs to support its growth and long-term success. Articulates and demonstrates an expectation for continuous quality improvement utilizing processes that include consideration of all stakeholders. Fosters an environment that focuses on processes and outcomes. Hires, trains, conducts performance evaluations, and supervises the workflow for designated staff. This includes initiating promotions, transfers, and disciplinary actions. This includes establishing priorities, workloads, controls and work procedures, as well as determining resource needs. Partners with stakeholders across the system to identify and respond to current and future workforce gaps. Works closely with regional and system Human Resources teams and recruiters to identify and develop shared understanding of regional and national labor market trends and their impact on workforce needs. Provides leadership for facility senior/lead recruiters to assure facility recruitment practices meet established standards and achieve facility needs. Establishes successful human resources leadership relationships which support sourcing and recruitment direction and recruiter expectations. Networks and benchmarks both within and out of industry to recognize and report new sourcing and recruitment opportunities. Identifies best practices and integrates as appropriate into system-wide strategies/programs. Continuously looks for creative/innovative sourcing and recruitment solutions, develops new programs/strategies and facilitates implementation. Works with sourcing and recruitment teams to provide integrated solutions to system workforce challenges. Facilitates communication between regional teams and centralized sourcing and recruitment team to assure shared expectations and follow-through. Provides updates and education on new sourcing and recruitment strategies, programs and/or services along with periodic sales training. Leads and supports designated operational plans, through project planning, communication and action, that support the departments mission, vision, strategy, and tactical plans to assure alignment with business results and maximize service quality, effectiveness and efficiency. Recommends policy changes and works to standardize processes across the system. Directs continuous process improvement for the division in support of standardization and consistent service delivery across the organization, ensuring the quality of deliverables and alignment with customer expectations and needs. Works collaboratively with Human Resources leadership to identify, streamline, and improve recruitment processes. Represents Human Resources on applicable process-related committees. Communicates across all levels of the organization. Provides a standardized system sourcing and recruitment infrastructure for legal and contractual agreements, marketing/advertising, educational and employment opportunities, tracking applicants, documenting the recruitment/hiring process and reporting/communicating results. Assures that the region receives analytical reports and qualitative assessment data to continuously evaluate how effectively and efficiently regional and workforce needs are being addressed.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent level of education and experience is needed. Expert-level working knowledge of principles, practices, and operations in assigned or related area of responsibility as normally obtained through 5+ years of progressively responsible managerial experience, including a 2 years management level experience within a healthcare system setting or large multi-operational, complex corporate environment. Must demonstrate expert-level knowledge and awareness of area of expertise in designated facility, business entity or area and/or experience in which the knowledge, skills, and abilities are directly transferable. Proven track record of driving successful performance outcomes and accomplishing organizational goals are needed. Must demonstrate skills and business acumen through direct leadership experiences such as: Anticipating and responding to the needs of internal and external customers; managing a budget and financial plans; building partnerships with management, staff, and stakeholders to achieve department goals and objectives; managing problems and situations where uncertainty is inherent; persuading others to adopt a particular stance on an issue; developing and evaluating best practices and emerging trends for organizational applicability and appropriateness; constructing new and innovative solutions for complex and varying problems and situations while considering the larger perspective or context; mentoring and coaching staff by providing open and honest feedback to enhance performance; developing and implementing strategic goals and initiatives that support organizational success; demonstrating excellent human relations, organizational and communication skills; demonstrating a passion about continuously improving and providing high quality care and service excellence to customers, patients, families, employees and/or physicians.
