Contracts Specialist Responsibilities: Help drive efficiency and consistency in a newly created role supporting Operations and Supply Chain; define, implement and manage the contract review process for supply agreements, consulting agreements, quality agreements and confidentiality agreements. Manage contract life cycles, including execution, extension, renewals and terminations, and maintain database containing all contractual. Ensure adherence to sound contract managements and risk assessment policies by working closely with attorneys and business leaders to set appropriate protocols for contract review and negotiation. Provide training on contracting best practices and other relevant subject matter. Provide support to the Cantel legal. Option to work remotely 1-day per week, if desired.
Qualification and Experience
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience as a contracts analysts or senior paralegal in a corporate setting. Solid understanding of the contract process with meticulous attention to detail. Demonstrated ability to work efficiently on multiple projects, prioritize workflow and meet deadlines. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to relate effectively at all levels and to build relationships across the organization. Working knowledge of Contract Logix or similar contract management. Highly proficient with MS Office applications (Word, Excel and Outlook). Team player who is willing to expand roles and go the extra mile. High ethical standards, positive attitude and sense of humor. Background working with procurement agreements is preferred. Experience in the medical device industry is a plus.
