Compliance and Regulatory Specialist The candidate will be responsible to handles corporate compliance matters, including but not limited to breach response plan triaging of privacy issues inbox, file set up, analysis and reporting. Reviews reported potential security breach and prepares summary of contractual requirements by compiling and analyzing internal and external information. Responds to state inquiries, complaints or grievances regarding compliance and regulatory issues. Prepares breach response activity reports to advise senior management on needed actions. Coordinates vendor resources including vendor identification and management. Develops, coordinates and monitors compliance training programs and materials. Keeps abreast of legislation and regulations affecting privacy and compliance.Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred. Paralegal certification strongly preferred. Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) preferred with 4+ years of compliance experience or equivalent combination of experience and education required. Should have working knowledge of regulatory and privacy compliance and standards. Working knowledge of the insurance industry and claims administration. Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills. PC literate, including Microsoft Office products. Analytical and interpretive skills, Strong organizational skills and Excellent interpersonal skills.
