Duties:
- Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in family law matters including divorce, child custody, alimony, and property division
- Draft, review, and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, agreements, and court orders
- Manage cases from inception to resolution with minimal supervision
- Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients
- Appear in court to advocate on behalf of clients in hearings, trials, and mediations
- Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to provide comprehensive legal services
- Maintain and foster strong relationships with clients to ensure their ongoing legal needs are met
Requirements:
- Licensed to practice law in New Hampshire
- 3-10 years of experience practicing family law or related legal fields
- Proven track record of managing family law cases from start to finish
- Strong understanding of New Hampshire family law statutes and regulations
- Excellent litigation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Education:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active membership in the New Hampshire State Bar
Certifications:
- Licensed to practice law in New Hampshire
