Bilingual Personal Injury Paralegal/Legal Assistant Candidate will handle: Frequent communication with the clients. Contacting insurance companies. Requesting and obtaining medical records, bills, wage loss, witness statements, doctor s statements. Reviewing medical records and preparing settlement demand packages. Provide administrative and clerical support to the litigation attorney; manage attorney s calendar and prepare attorney for court hearings, depositions, and appointments. Draft and assist in drafting basic to intermediate correspondence, legal documents, and pleadings, such as complaints, summonses, subpoenas, motions, discovery and briefs. Proofread documents for proper spelling, grammar, and compliance with court rules and judge s requirements. Process incoming and outgoing mail. Scan, copy, and organize documents in the firm s electronic case management system. Must be bilingual-English/Spanish.
