STAFF ATTORNEY POSITION

LSE is a statewide non-profit organization that has been providing free legal services to older Mainers for forty nine is committed to ensuring that all older people in Maine – of any class, race, sex, background, orientation, or identity -- are secure in meeting their basic needs, including housing, health care, nutrition, community, safety, and freedom from exploitation and part of that commitment, LSE works to create and maintain a workforce and culture that reflects the diversity of our ;

LSE has a fulltime Staff Attorney position must be living or planning to live in Staff Attorney could work remotely from a home office located in Maine, from an LSE office if there is one nearby, or under a hybrid Staff Attorney will handle a wide variety of civil litigation matters and conduct outreach in an assigned geographic area of service.

Candidates must be licensed to practice in Maine and have 0-5 years of related legal experience (or be sitting for the bar examination in must also have a strong interest in and/or experience doing civil litigation and a commitment to working with and helping older Staff Attorney will work as part of a team of Staff Attorneys and receive ongoing professional training and ;

The salary range for this position is $67,000 to $71,000 depending upon relevant offers a collegial and inclusive work environment and an excellent benefit will start on April 29 and continue until the job is provide a cover letter, resume and references via email to .
