Legal Advisor The candidate will be designing and implementing activities to improve the laws for civil society in Asia. Providing technical legal assistance to government officials, parliamentarians, and civil society. Researching civil society legal issues. Assisting with budget and contract management, program development, and donor requirements. Representing ICNL at meetings and conferences. Working with local partners throughout Asia. Must have Law degree from an accredited school and 3-7 years of post-law school professional experience. Experience with CSOs and/or governments in Asia is required (experience in more than one sub-region within Asia is an advantage). Excellent research, analytical, writing, and presentation skills is needed. Experience in program strategy and design as well as project management is needed. Fluency in English is must. Experience in program development/grant writing is an advantage. CSO experience, particularly in challenging political environments, is required. Experience implementing USAID-funded programs is a plus. Deadline: April 5, 2018
