Duties:

  • Assist in all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motions, trials, and appeals.
  • Conduct thorough legal research and draft memoranda, briefs, and other legal documents.
  • Attend depositions, hearings, and trials, providing support to senior attorneys.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, keeping them informed of case progress.
  • Work closely with senior attorneys to develop strategies for case management.
  • Prepare and review documents for discovery, such as interrogatories and requests for admissions.
  • Engage in settlement negotiations, mediation, and other dispute resolution processes.
  • Stay updated on relevant legal developments and case law.

Requirements:

  • Experience in litigation, preferably in a law firm setting.
  • Admitted to practice law in the state of California.
  • Excellent legal writing, analytical, and research skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in legal software and research tools.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:
