Junior Financial Services Lawyer - Derivatives and Futures Trading The candidate's responsibilities will include; Corporate: renewing POAs; tracking bank/non-bank arrangements and agreements; updating Derivs Team sharepoint site with forms and templates the team needs; taking minutes at Derivs team meetings, maintaining meeting invites, etc.; updating status of items in Teams matter tracker. Contracts: reviewing by-laws, board resolutions and constituent documents received in connection with guarantees; reviewing ISDA netting opinions and collateral opinions; arranging signing (and chasing approvals as needed); checking evidence of signing authority from counterparties; reviewing and negotiating NDAs. Document Management: documentation database management; for each agreement, collating original signatures, amendments, guarantees etc; data input and collateral process work; for each agreement updating 3D data, completing margining tasks, netting tasks and regulatory elections; creating fully executed versions of documents and storing in the Macquarie storage system; running comparisons; manual and electronic (may involve converting from pdf to Word); maintaining and updating an inventory of non-disclosure agreements.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should be a recent law school graduate with internship experience, or 0-3 years of legal experience working at a top tier law firm or financial services firm. Strong communication skills will also be required.
