Summer Internship The candidate will join Family Support Division. Must have courtroom experience. Will apply to practice in court under the "Student Practice Rule”, the Nevada State Bar’s Student Practice Certification. Previous interns have appeared in court on dozens of occasions during the course of their internships, arguing motions or other hearings, presenting misdemeanor trials, and conducting preliminary hearings. Will do research and writing. 2Ls and 3Ls will be considered. Students who have completed their second year of law school are strongly preferred because Nevada’s Student Practice Certification is available to students beginning after they complete the second year of law school. Duration: May-August.
