Civil Litigation Paralegal Duties: Filing in state and federal court. Calendaring depositions, mediation, hearings, court deadlines, etc. Drafting correspondence. Communications with client, court, counsel, and others. Trial Preparation.
Qualification and Experience
Requirements: 2-5 years of experience as a legal assistant for a litigation firm required. Experience does not have to be in business litigation. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook. Must possess strong organizational skills and be highly detail oriented. Must have the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and have a great attitude and minimal supervision. Must take pride in his/her work, and aspire to grow with a large, reputable law firm. Must possess very good communication skills.
