Senior IP Licensing Counsel The candidate will provide legal support for all aspects of product development and technology licensing. Responsibilities will include analysis of IP legal risk, drafting and negotiation of inbound technology licensing agreements (including development, OEM, and software license agreements), advising on open source issues, and managing legal team projects and processes. Draft and negotiate inbound licensing agreements, including development, OEM and software license agreements. Advise clients on legal risk with respect to third party commercial and open source licenses. Contribute to IP team projects and development or processes.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate should have a B.A./B.S. and J.D. degree. Must have 5-10 years of experience in negotiating and drafting inbound technology licensing agreements. Prior in-house experience working at a technology company is preferred. Prior large private law firm training and experience is desired. General knowledge of cloud/SaaS is essential. Ability to articulate and defend well-reasoned legal advice on intellectual property issues is required. Knowledge of open source licenses and risks is an asset.
