Job Title: Labor And Employment Associate AttorneyJob Overview: An established law firm based in Akron, OH, is seeking a skilled Labor and Employment Associate Attorney to join its team. This position offers a unique opportunity for hands-on experience in diverse employment cases and client advisory on labor-related issues. The ideal candidate will have strong litigation abilities and the expertise to handle various employment matters in a collaborative environment.Duties:Engage actively in employment-related cases, including wrongful termination, harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and wage/hour matters.Conduct research and guide clients on issues like employee leaves, accommodations, and labor relations.Draft and review essential legal documents, including employment agreements, contracts, employee handbooks, and policy manuals.Participate in litigation, including drafting pleadings and motions, responding to discovery requests, and conducting depositions.Conduct investigations under Title VII and Title IX requirements.Requirements:Proficiency in litigation and demonstrated experience with employment cases.1-3 years of relevant experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on analytical and litigation abilities.Ability to effectively collaborate within teams and manage independent projects.Capacity to work closely with attorneys, staff, and clients at various levels.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Certifications:Licensed or ability to secure a license to practice law in the State of Ohio.Skills:Exceptional writing and analytical capabilities.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple ongoing projects effectively.Excellent interpersonal skills for client and team interactions.Job Location:Akron, OH
