Qualification and Experience
The candidate should have a J.D. degree from an ABA accredited law school, 6+ years of litigation experience, and membership in good standing in the State Bar of Arizona. Municipal law or other government experience, admission to the United States Supreme Court, and 3+ years previous supervisory experience over other attorneys is preferred. Should have, or obtain within three months of hire, admission to the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals (Litigation Assignment) and the US District Court for the District of Arizona (Litigation Assignment). Experience in a municipal or government setting is preferred. Prior supervisory experience of other attorneys of 3+ years is desired. Admission to the Bar of the United States Supreme Court (Litigation Duty Assignment) needed.
