Litigation Paralegal The candidate will assist the attorney(s) in the preparation of litigation pleadings. Will prepare and file documents with the Clerk of Court. Will Communicate with clients to obtain relevant information and communicate case status.Communicate with Judicial Assistants to schedule and coordinate hearings and trials. Help to organize discovery information. Draft memos transcribed from attorney dictation. Assist the attorney(s) by managing calendars, litigation deadlines and coordinating schedules. Assist the attorney(s) by helping to organize information for hearings and trial. Other tasks as needed. Should preferably have Paralegal certification. 2 years of Florida litigation paralegal experience is required. Experience with the court’s e-File system. Should have excellent writing skills. Relevant computer skills for the position is required. Should have professionalism, good judgment, and the ability to manage in high pressure situations.
