The candidate will be responsible for advising clients on the international assignment structuring, presentation of researched conclusions and recommendations of alternative courses of action, and identifying various methods of complying with tax obligations. Will be charged with marketing, networking and business development efforts within the industry and the Expatriate Services specialization.
Qualification and ExperienceQualifications: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Business Administration, International Business, Human Resource Management, International Human Resource Manager or other related filed is required. Advanced degree in Accounting, Tax or MBA (concentration in International Business or Human Resource Management) is desired. Must have 5-8 years of related work experience. Prior supervisory experience is required. Prior study abroad or international work experience is a plus. Licensed CPA, attorney or enrolled agent. American Payroll Association (APA) member is beneficial. Society of Human Resource Management certification is an asset. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Excel, PowerPoint and Word. Preferably have prior experience working with various tax applications and research tools such as Go Systems. Have fluency in foreign languages. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Possesses superior customer service skills. Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of information. Capable of working and communicating effectively with professionals at all levels. Able to work in a deadline-driven environment and handle multiple projects / tasks with attention to detail. Ability to successfully multi-task while working independently or within a group environment. Superior analytical and diagnostic skills and the ability to apply analysis in determining appropriate next steps. Excellent computer skills and the aptitude to learn new software applications. Knowledge of the process of combining tax knowledge and knowledge of business/industry to recommend solutions. Possesses superior personnel development and delegation skills, including training/facilitation. Capable of effectively preparing and delivering presentations to clients and potential clients. Solid client development and relationship retention skills. Ability to compose written tax advice. Demonstrates professional demeanor in all business interactions and relationships.
