Law Firm Seeks for Family Law and Litigation Practice Group

Law Firm is looking for a full-time paralegal to join its family law and litigation practice group in Northern Virginia. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication and organizational skills. This is a hybrid position with an expectation of working from home and from the Fairfax office 2-3 days per week.

Job Requirements:

5+ years of family law paralegal experience
General knowledge of litigation, experience in family law
Correspondence drafting and transmission of documents via various platforms
Expertise with Microsoft Office applications, in particular Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
Ability to work independently
Experience supporting multiple attorneys in a practice group
Ability to interface with clients regarding details of their representation
Understanding of Northern Virginia court procedures, DC knowledge a bonus
Experience drafting pleadings, agreements and discovery
Proficiency in e-filing
Comfortable working remotely and familiar with the technologies involved in a virtual environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to relate to people in a variety of situations
Highly trustworthy and discreet
Common sense and good judgment
