Job Overview: A law firm in Washington, DC, is seeking a Junior Associate Attorney with 2-3 years of experience in healthcare regulatory and corporate transactional law. The ideal candidate should possess superior academic credentials and excellent writing, research, analytical, and communication skills.

Job Duties:

• Conduct legal research and analysis on healthcare regulatory matters and corporate transactions.
• Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and compliance documents.
• Assist senior attorneys in client meetings, depositions, and hearings.
• Provide support in due diligence and transactional closings.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the Washington, DC Bar or eligibility to waive in.
• 2-3 years of experience in healthcare regulatory and corporate transactional law, preferably at a large law firm.
• Strong understanding of healthcare laws, regulations, and compliance issues.

Skills:

• Excellent legal writing skills with the ability to draft clear and concise legal documents.
• Proficiency in legal research using online databases and resources.
• Strong analytical skills to assess complex legal issues.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently when necessary.
