Legal Administrative Assistant - Real Estate
The candidate will be responsible for: Preparing correspondence, legal documents, forms, presentations and the like using advanced knowledge and skills with word processing related and other software programs. Managing billing process to include time-entry, data review and correction, final submission to meet all Firm-required deadlines, maintenance of billing records, and research of disputes and discrepancies. Establishing and maintaining well-organized files and the integrity of original client documents. Showing a strong sense of ownership and integrity when reading, prioritizing, routing and following up on client communications. Scheduling appointments, travel preparation/arrangements and managing business calendars.

Qualification and Experience

The candidate must have: 3-5 years prior work experience within a law firm, as well as experience within a Real Estate practice group Prior experience with programs such as Best Authority, eFiling, DocuSign, PDF Essentials, DropBox, etc. Advanced use of MS Word (including redlining, comparing documents, advanced formatting, TOA and TOC creation and manipulation, and embedded hyperlinks) as well as an ability to quickly learn other applications as necessary. Proficient knowledge and usage of document management system (WorkSite/FileSite). The ability to independently and efficiently prioritize workflow, and maintain an organized task schedule. Superior organizational skills; demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple competing tasks and demands.
