Court Research Specialist
The candidate will perform record research through various court access systems. Review and analyze court data, identifying key information, and entering it into a common format. Contact clerk of court and other agencies via telephone as needed to obtain and/or confirm case information. Review your own work and that of Court Records team members to assure accuracy in search criteria and data entry. Coursework or an Associate’s degree in Criminal Justice, Paralegal or other related field is preferred. Prior industry experience or other related field is preferred. Must have excellent written communication skills (spelling/grammar). Should have data entry/word processing skills and a high degree of comfort navigating the internet and using web-based applications. Must have typing/keyboarding skills of at least 35 words/minute. High School education is required. Knowledge of criminal court processes and terminology will be an asset.
