A law firm in Cincinnati is seeking a Mid-level Intellectual Property Litigation Associate Attorney to enhance their IP litigation practice. The successful candidate will play a critical role in managing and advancing complex IP litigation matters. The ideal candidate will have a technical background in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering, coupled with strong academic credentials and exceptional writing and research skills. This role involves significant responsibilities in handling IP disputes, including drafting legal documents, managing discovery, and representing clients in court.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Manage and advance complex intellectual property litigation matters, including patents, trademarks, and trade secrets.
• Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support litigation strategies.
• Oversee and manage discovery processes, including document review, production, and deposition preparation.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings and trials.
• Develop and implement case strategies in collaboration with clients and legal teams.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to junior attorneys and legal staff.
• Stay current with developments in IP law and technological advancements related to the field.

Requirements:

• 4-6 years of experience in intellectual property litigation.
• Preferably holds a technical background in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering.
• Strong academic credentials with a proven track record of legal research and writing.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple complex cases simultaneously.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Technical degree in computer science, computer engineering, or electrical engineering is highly preferred.

Certifications:

• Admission to the Ohio Bar or eligibility for admission is required.
